Porcello is 26. 4 year deal is easier at that age. When the player gets to 30 DD starts to back off on the years.

Interesting that Boras would do this deal.

As Eddie pointed out, I was wrong. The article said Boras and I believed.

We all know the market is effected by the dumbest deal signed.

And this one is pretty dumb.

Career ERA+ of 98, career FIP 4.03, career WHIP 1.359 5.5 K/9

I guess since they really have no pitching, it was necessary.
